SANTÉ HEALTH FOUNDATION MASQUERADE BALL
Benefiting Valley Caregiver Resource Center
On Saturday, April 22nd, the Santé Health Foundation presented its annual gala, the Masquerade Ball, at the Fresno Convention Center. This unforgettable evening benefited Valley Caregiver Resource Center, for which $202,672 was raised. Some 450 guests, many of whom were masked, partook in the event. The room was filled with striking red light and the outstanding entertainment, for which the ball has come to be known for. Highlights from the night include a performance by the talented and local Brooke Aiello, Shadow Dancers all the way from Las Vegas, and the Party Crashers Band based out of Utah and LA. A labradoodle puppy was also part of the live auction. Santé will be doing a check presentation on June 6th at Valley Caregiver Resource Center. Don is a portrait and still-life photographer based on Fresno, California. He was a nursing major from Fresno City College, and while waiting to get in the nursing program, he continued to take photography classes. There he fell completely in love with photography. Capturing the right moment only takes one shot. But it is much more than that! You need to have the right lighting, angle, and expression to get the perfect photograph. Over the years, Don has mastered the art of capturing the moment.
