75TH ANNIVERSARY LUNCH
Benefiting Fresno Art Museum
The 75th Anniversary Lunch was sponsored by the Fresno Art Museum (FAM) Board of Trustees, who hosted over 40 guests on Thursday, February 1st at Sunnyside Country Club. TV monitors displayed images from past events, such the Andy Warhol Cocktail Party, and the wildly popular “Trashique” event, which will be back again next year. Jerry Palladino, FAM Board President, welcomed guests as lunch was served. City Councilman Nelson Esparza sent a Proclamation for the Fresno Art Museum’s 75th Anniversary Year by way of his representative Omar Hernandez, who presented it with an entertaining speech. Terry Skoda, FAM VP, unveiled the Board’s 2024 Fund Raising Campaign, whose goal is to raise $275,000 for FAM’s 75th anniversary with more events and programs throughout the year. Cala Carter recognized each FAM Emeriti in attendance for their generosity and support of FAM. Karla Contreras, FAM’s youngest Board Member, talked about the potential of future museum supporters.
