The most luxurious night of the year is back! Celebrate the Central Valley’s favorite businesses at the 2025 Luxury Awards, taking place in Downtown Fresno. A sit-down dinner, hand-passed drinks, and dessert will be served at the magazine’s largest event to date. Come see the winners announced live and in person. Margot Kim of ABC30 Action News will emcee the event.

Beautiful: The Carol King Musical
is back by popular demand. This performance, by the Good Company Players, is a feel-good, chart-topping celebration of a Rock & Roll legend! The show is rated PG-13 and can be seen at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater. Patrons have matinee and evening show options, and can either do the dining experience or just see the play.

In recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, soprano Karen Slack is to perform Barber’s Knoxville: Summer of 1915. The concert opens with Adolphus Hailstork’s Fanfare on Amazing Grace, and continues with Walker’s Lyric for Strings. A lifelong advocate for civil rights, Leonard Bernstein’s jazzy ballet score Fancy Free brings this celebratory concert to a close.

Free Entrance Day 

All National Parks

The first of six Free Entrance Days to the National Parks will take place on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone (other fees, including timed entry or reservation fees, may apply). The other five Free Entrance Days are scheduled to take place in April, June, August, September, and November.
