THE ANI GUILD ANNUAL SPRING LUNCHEON
Benefiting the “Ani Daily Scoop” Ice-Cream Shop
The Ani Guild Annual Spring Luncheon took place on Saturday, May 4th in The Pavilion at The Vineyards California Armenian Home with 125 guests present. The event raised funds for the Ani Guild’s 2024 project: The “Ani Daily Scoop” Ice-Cream Shop, which will be for the residents at the California Armenian Home. “This luncheon is an important part of raising the money needed to get our new ice cream shop completed, and we are more than halfway to our $50,000 goal. With continued support, before you know it, we will be serving happiness one scoop at a time,” said Missy Stater, Immediate Past President. Highlights from the event include fun and fabulous 1950s malt shop-themed decorations, roller skaters from University High School at Fresno State, and James “Sinatra” Hitchcock crooning for the crowd. “It is through fundraising events like this that we are able to continuously improve and enhance the experience for the residents through beautification projects of the grounds and a variety of social events like our planned ‘Ani Daily Scoop’ Ice Cream Shop,” shared Arpy Tanielian, President.
