VICTORY PARK & PATHWAY OF HONOR GRAND OPENING

VICTORY PARK & PATHWAY OF HONOR GRAND OPENING

The Grand Opening of the new Victory Park and Pathway of Honor, which honors the past and present dedication and sacrifice of first responders and military services, took place on Wednesday, May 29th at The Vineyards | California Armenian Home. Approximately 200 attendees came out in support. Funding for Victory Park was provided by The Elaine Hamparson Trust, and the purchase of Pathway of Honor engraved stone pavers is an ongoing way to honor first responders and military service men and women. Friends and family joined the celebration, including former Fresno County Supervisor Debbie Poochigian, Fresno County District 3 Supervisor Sal Quintero, Fresno County District 5 Supervisor Nathan Magsig, former Fresno County Sheriff Steve Magarian, and many other local honored guests. “The park features a 26-foot reflecting pool and fountain with patriotic night lighting, and a monument wall that displays the bronze seals of our all our military services and Fresno first responders,” Dennis Bacopulos shared. “This park is dedicated to them as a place of peace, reflection, and honor.” The Vineyards’ first responder “Lunch on Us” followed the park dedication event. For more information about California Armenian Home, please visit www.lifeatthevineyards.org
