6 DEGREES OF SANITY
1. I’m listening to podcasts.
I utilize waiting periods and driving time by indulging in a variety of podcasts. Dr. Andrew Huberman’s Huberman Lab on Spotify is my latest fave—it dissects complex health topics into digestible takeaways.
Apple AirPods Pro $249.00 from www.apple.com
2. I’m soaking.
Over the past year, my tub game has been strong. Handmade by local artisan and licensed therapist Annie Domingos, The Tub Club’s CBD aromatic, stress-relieving bath bombs (and newly released menthol muscle balm) ensure that I unwind in peace.
The Tub Club CBD Bath Bomb $20.00 from www.thetubclub.com
3. I’m Claying.
You heard me right! I love making polymer clay trinkets, mostly earrings. I experiment with different color combos and patterns, which I then gift to my friends and family. My kids even get into it!
CiaraQ Polymer Clay Starter Kit $25.99 from www.amazon.com
4. I’m expanding my plant family.
I often find myself at Gazebo Gardens or Home Depot, fawning over their latest hauls, searching for interesting shapes or unusual foliage. Recently, I purchased a Venus Fly Trap for my daughter, who’s been infatuated with this plant for over a year.
Venus Fly Trap $28.28 from www.homedepot.com
5. I’m Skating.
I learned to longboard 2 years ago, when my 6-year-old son developed interest. It’s a great workout and a fun way for me to get some one-on-one time with him. I love the classic pintail shape boards made by Landyachtz.

6. I’m sleeping…well, trying to.
My 8-hour sleep is crucial for daily clarity! These Cariloha bed sheets are carbon neutral and made of 100% viscose from bamboo—the fact that buying them helps the environment alone helps me stay sane.
