Held the second Saturday of April, the first major car show of the year is back. Hot Rods Fresno will host the 2023 Tower Car Show in Fresno’s Tower District. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the raffles. As the 21st annual event, this year’s show is on track to be the biggest yet and is sponsored by O’Reilly Auto Parts, Donaghy Sales, Pacific Boring, and Wall & Eades Auto Upholstery.

Presented by Budweiser and Bueno Beverage, Opening Night for the Visalia Rawhide will commence the start of baseball season at Valley Strong Ballpark and kick off Opening Week events. The Single-A affiliate team of the Arizona Diamondbacks will play their first home games against Rancho Cucamonga. The first 250 fans will receive the Opening Day Hat Giveaway that night.

The Fresno Grizzlies’ Home Opener, presented by Fresno/Clovis Convention & Visitors Bureau, will feature post-game fireworks. With “2 for Tuesdays,” presented by Toyota, grab 2-for-1 field box tickets and take advantage of $2 sodas and $2 novelty ice cream. Out of the team’s 66 home games, over half of the dates have a unique promotion tied to them, with even more to be added later.

11th Annual DTV Wine Walk

The 11th Annual DTV Wine Walk will take place from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Downtown Visalia’s businesses and shops welcome you in with delicious wines and even some food items! Attendees must be over 21 years of age. Tickets are $45 per person and may be purchased online up until 3:00PM on the day of. There will be an ID check upon entry, where guests receive wristbands, glasses, and a map.

In its 11th year, 2,000 participants in the Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k Run will run through Sea Lion Cove and African Adventure at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo with a grand finish at Chukchansi Park. Or, choose the Rock and Run 5k, which doesn’t go through the zoo but offers all the Half Marathon benefits, including a free zoo ticket and a free Chukchansi baseball ticket.
