Basilwood Farm: Goat's Milk Soap
Do your bathroom drawers look like a walking endorsement for about a billion different skin care products? You know what I mean… mile high mountains of products that now collect dust after spending heaps of cash on trying things out and then moving on. Women and skin care products have a love / hate relationship. If you are still on the quest of what works and what doesn’t, why not take the natural approach and look into the amazing creations of Basilwood Farm. My family and I have been using their products for a few years now and love how gentle their products are on the skin. All that gentle is derived from several places, but the bulk of their magic potion is goat’s milk.
Basilwood Farm is local and it’s family-owned and operated, which are both beautiful things. They create skin-nourishing goat’s-milk soap (and other amazing goodies) from their humble herd of Alpine dairy goats. Each doe is hand-milked daily to produce their handcrafted and oh-so delicious soap. The scents behind some of their products are divine and will leave your skin feeling silky and smooth. Plus, you can actually feel your skin thanking you!
Skin is not just the largest organ of the body, it’s also the most important as the outer covering that protects all of the delicate parts living beneath. So it’s time now to thank your skin by introducing it to Basilwood Farm and collect product for the entire family. From Cadence Soap (a gentle scent free bar for the kiddos), the Beard Buster Bar for the Gents, down to the Detox bar for aiding with acne and the Coffee Butter bar for the ladies trying to preserve their beloved elasticity. We have plenty of natural resources that can transform the skin, and Basilwood Farm does an incredible job of taking all of them into account. Not to mention, their line is affordable too! Almost sounds too good to be true, right? But hey, they're my beauty secret!

FUN FACT: Goat's milk is particularly high in Vitamin A, which is necessary to repair damaged skin tissue and maintain healthy skin. Vitamin A helps to reduce lines and wrinkles, control acne and provide some psoriasis relief. Goat's milk also contains important minerals for the skin such as selenium. Selenium is believed by scientists to have an important role in preventing skin cancer. It can also help with excessive exposure to the sun.
Avoshea Body Butter (Oatmeal, Milk and Honey): Avocado / Shea Butters, Arrowroot Powder and Fragrance Oil. Side note: The consistency of this body butter is fluffy and rich. It’s dreamy like a cozy cloud of goodness!
Tea Tree Facial Toner: Witch Hazel, Rose Floral Water and Tea Tree Essential Oil.
Dead Sea Salt Scrub: Dead Sea Salt, Organic Olive Oil and Lavender Essential Oil.
FUN FACT: Goat's milk contains natural alpha-hydroxy acids which help remove dead skin cells from your skin's surface. It leaves new cells that are smoother and younger looking. These acids are so effective because they break down the bonds that hold the dead skin cells together. Commercial soaps may use harsh chemical acids to accomplish this, frequently with skin-damaging results.
