Gut Shot: It Does A Body Good

Santa Cruz based company Farm House Culture has shocked both my mind and my gut. Founded in 2008 by chef Kathryn Lukas, Farmhouse Culture is primarily an organic Kraut & Kimchi company. You won’t find fresher Krauts or Kimchi anywhere.

But recently, I landed on a little something different from them. I call it the magic potion known as, “Gut Shot.” While at my neighborhood Whole Foods, I was stopped by the cool imaging and bright colors of the bottle. I then tossed around the idea about throwing it in my cart. It ended up coming home with me and I gotta be honest — it was instant gratification as soon as I gave it a try. The cleanse is all about improving gut health; which in turn should improve overall health. That's a total WIN-WIN. The gut shots contain natural live probiotics, just what every gut needs.

They have several flavors available – Classic, Ginger Beet, Garlic Dill Pickle, and Smoked Jalapeno. My favorite is Jalapeño.
