Lux Accessorize: DIY Jewelry Cleaning Tips
Idea 1) Swirl, Soak, Scrub:
Put the jewelry in a glass mason jar. Cover with ½ cup of vinegar or witch hazel. Add one drop of tea tree oil and swirl to mix. Allow jewelry to soak in the mixture overnight. The next morning, coat with baking soda and scrub with an old toothbrush, then rinse with water.
Idea 2) Fizz It Up:
Line the bowl with a square of aluminum foil, and then top with the salt, baking soda, and dish detergent. Now add the hot water and watch as the liquid fizzes. Drop in your jewelry and let sit in the cleaner for 10 minutes. Watch them sparkle!
Idea 3) All Nat-ur-al, Just Soda:
Use one cup of hot water with 1-2 tsps. baking soda. Let your rings sit for a few minutes, and rinse. Shine, baby, shine!
