Valley Development Company, LLC (Riverstone Development LLC, San Joaquin River Ranch LLC, Riverstone Farms LLC) is proud to announce it is expanding its operations to include farm management through Central Valley Ag Management, LLC (CVAM). Tim Jones and Henk Griffin take on this new venture with an undeniable love for agriculture and what the Central Valley has provided for many, many years. Farming is one of the oldest professions, dating back through the centuries, and the fraction of the population engaged in farming is dwindling. However, farming is unique in the sense that while the number of farmers is decreasing, the world’s population, and the demand for food, is increasing.

Central Valley Ag Management, LLC is currently farming almonds, pistachios, oranges, and mandarins with big plans for the Central Valley. Henk Griffin, a 25-plus-year farming veteran and our proud Director of Farming, treats every acre and every crop as if it were his own. His commitment to growing the best crops is reflected in the enthusiastic spark in his eyes when he talks about his everyday activities and the crops he is producing. As in everything Valley Development Company, LLC has done, our growers’ success is our success—the key to our mission.

For us, there is simply something mystical about farming. There is great reward and satisfaction in seeing the crops being grown, nurtured, and harvested, especially knowing that what we harvest serves the nutritional needs of the world.
