Benefiting Women Empowerment
Women Empowerment (WE) hosted their second event, Awareness Matters, WE Care, on Wednesday, October 23rd at Fort Washington Golf and Country Club. A social and networking hour was followed by Dr. Christopher Perkins, Lany Avakian, NP (both of California Oncology of the Central Valley), and breast cancer survivor Isabel Trejo speaking to 86 attendees regarding cancer awareness, prevention, and overall women’s health.
