Dakota Acres Brings Fall Fairytales to Life

Since 2014, Dakota Acres has brought a fairytale element to Fresno as a family-owned boutique pumpkin patch, celebrating the season of the Central Valley’s harvest. Wife to local farmer Nick “Uncle Pumpkin” Rocca, Kimberly Joy Rocca’s childhood love of a classic pumpkin patch was brought to life on their urban farm with dirt-road roots. Now, as the Roccas raise their own family, Dakota Acres serves as a reminder that what you plant in life is what you grow.

Each pumpkin is tended to by the hands of the Rocca family, with an expression of pride on Nick and Kimberly’s children’s faces. With an extensive variety of heirloom pumpkins being harvested annually, the Roccas are proud to bring their homegrown pumpkins to porches in the Fresno area through curated deliveries, with each Bushel Basket, Harvest Box, Pumpkin Drop, or “Pumpkin Your Porch” being hand-picked by locals who have a love for the people they serve. The products are made on-site and are adorned with a handmade grapevine wreath and dried fall foliage, complete with an inspirational card created by a local artist.

This season, Dakota Acres gives the opportunity to connect with loved ones with contactless delivery.
