6 DEGREES OF SANITY

6 DEGREES OF SANITY

Upnature Pepperment

1. I’m breathing.

Aroma is everything! I discovered a peppermint essential oil roll-on stick, and I mostly use it around my forehead and temples—not only does it smell great, but it helps with headaches, too. Plus, the easy-to-use design and compact size make it travel-friendly.

Ronald McDonald house

2. I’m virtually volunteering.

I’m one of the many proud ambassadors to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley. I help raise awareness about this non-profit, who is in need of funding for their Meals From the Heart and Adopt-A-Meal programs, which serve the families staying there.

Two Cities Coffee Roasters

3. I’m drinking.

Coffee keeps me going, and it is part of my daily routine. Black coffee with a splash of almond milk is how I take it (no sugar). At home, I have been enjoying a local favorite from Two Cities Coffee Roasters, who offers beans for a variety of roast preferences.

Brix & Barrel Lifestyle

4. I’m being honest.

And let’s keep it real… I like a good wine, as well. Centralized in the Valley, Brix & Barrel’s subscription service allows you to enjoy Californian wines handpicked by a local professional sommelier. Reflecting on my personal style, I recommend “The Cutting Edge” option.

Brix & Barrel The Cutting Edge $75.00 from www.brixandbarrel.com

Two Cities Marathon

5. I’m marathon training.

Running outdoors is COVID-19-safe and a great way to connect with Mother Nature, and while training indoors, I use the Peloton app for only $12.99 per month. This November, I am supporting my local community by participating in the Two Cities Marathon.

Billini Sandals

6. I’m shopping.

Conscious spending has never been more important, and retail therapy is indeed a mood booster—both of which have become all the more important over the past year. My stylist pick during quarantine is by far a good flat for comfort, especially this spring.
