OUR FAVORITE THINGS
It really is the little things in life that make all the difference! The holidays are usually a time of indulgence, which also creates opportunity to discover necessary luxuries. And we at CVLUX love a bit of luxury! So, we’re sharing a collective “love list” of sorts. We’ve rounded up our favorite things, from products to experiences, in the hopes that you’ll relish these picks as much as we do.

Valley Lahvosh Baking Company Peda Bread from www.valleylahvosh.com
Few things evoke a taste of home the way Valley Lahvosh does. While their crackerbread products are available in stores across the country, you can only get their freshly baked Peda bread from the bakery storefront on Fridays. I love ordering from them for special occasions, but if I’m near Downtown Fresno that day, I can’t help but stop for a loaf.

Gloss & Glow Candle Co. Candles $32.95 from www.glossandglowcandleco.com
Candles are one of my favorite gifts to receive, as I love the atmospheric effect they provide at home. Admittedly, I don’t often buy them for myself. But Gloss & Glow candles are one brand I’ll gladly purchase! These locally made, luxurious candles are hand-poured, and feature a beautiful glass jar with a cedar wick that sounds as lovely as it smells.

CRŪ Winery Wines from www.cruwinery.com
Being in the Central Valley, it’s not difficult to find good wine. But I especially love the offerings at CRŪ Winery. I don’t have a favorite—I like all of them and enjoy sharing bottles with friends and family for both everyday and festive events. I put them in a blinged wine bag (I go to local designer Bling Witch Designs) and give them to my friends!

Self-care is my favorite thing, and I LOVE a good pamper sesh. Going to a spa is nice, but IMO the best way to #treatyourself is with a getaway. Book a staycation at a local Airbnb (try The Tipping Pointe in Downtown Fresno) and hire a mobile massage therapist to come to you. Sarah R. Harry is THE BEST—book by emailing her!
