We do what we do to make others feel better, that’s what makes us Intrinsic.

Intrinsic was born just over five years ago out of a need for something different. Both being at a place where they knew the industry needed to be elevated and viewed in a different way, Lawrence and Christopher wanted to bring together the most original team of hairstylists, who could be free to be exactly who they were, and for them to be given the opportunity to portray their art in their own unique way. A dream inspired Lawrence to call the salon Intrinsic, and when he looked up the definition (belonging naturally; essential), he and Christopher knew it perfectly suited their ideal.

WHO WE ARE
Intrinsic is a full-service hair salon that offers a full range of haircare services from a unique and diverse group of talented stylists. We believe in supporting small local businesses and showcasing a variety of artists within our creative workspace. We are an all-inclusive salon that encourages people to be their true, authentic selves.

OUR BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT
Surviving 2020 during the pandemic. In September 2019, we expanded and moved into our new salon home, not knowing that in March 2020 we would face our first shut down. Our core is still intact after being closed for just over six months, and we are proud to say we are stronger than ever thanks to the amazing support of our salon family.

We’re more than just hairdressers—we have the ability to touch and change the lives of people from all walks of life. We become an extension of our clients’ families, just like they are an extension of ours. From special occasions to sickness, sometimes we are the only people who can listen without judgment, and we’re here to help you through it all.

THE BRANDS WE TRUST
Our full array of haircare can be tailored specifically to each individual who comes through our doors. We proudly carry exclusive, luxury haircare, such as Kérastase and Bumble and bumble. For those clients who have severe allergies, we offer Loma, which is gluten free.
