2023 CENTRAL VALLEY HEART & STROKE BALL
Benefiting American Heart Association
On Friday, June 16th, 190 well-dressed guests gathered in the ballroom at Sunnyside Country Club in Fresno for the American Heart Association’s (AHA) annual Central Valley Heart & Stroke Ball. Featuring a reception, silent and live auction, engaging program, and musical performance by Jeremy “Elvis” Pearce, the event raised $180,000. Funds will go to the AHA and support research along with local programs focused on high blood pressure management, CPR training, and nutrition access. Emceed by KSEE’s MedWatch host, Amber Lynn Carroll, the program included remarks by Central Valley AHA Board Chairman Kurt Vote and Executive Director Kelley Berry. Guests also heard the inspiring story of the Domingos family, whose 10-year-old son, Luke, is living with a congenital heart defect. For more information about the AHA, please visit www.heart.org.
