TESORO VIEJO’S 6TH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY
Tesoro Viejo’s 6th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony was held at Tesoro Viejo’s Town Center on Friday, December 1st. Over 1,000 attendees came out to experience this kick-off to the holiday season. Madera County Sheriff Tyson Pogue and Santa Claus officially flipped the switch that lights the 35-foot Christmas tree from the top of a fire engine ladder. Students from Hillside Elementary added to the holiday magic by singing some holiday songs. Festivities surrounding the tree lighting ceremony included photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, The Grinch, snow fall, horse drawn carriage rides, Polar Express train rides, caroling by The Gilly Girls, and seasonal treats from AXIS Coffee Bar + Eatery along with a variety of food vendors.
